Cells for mobile phone base stations were invented in 1947 by engineers at Bell Laboratories of AT & T and developed by Bell Laboratories during the 1960s. Radiophone has a long and varied history that goes back to the invention of Reginald Fessenden and the full exposure to radio telephony, Ohio, Euclid George Sweigert was issued the US Patent Number 3449450 of the first Wireless Phone in June 10, 1969.
The earliest inception of mobile telephone was Shunya ji (0G). Like other technologies of the time, it consisted of a single, powerful base station covering a wide area, and each telephone effectively monopolymed one channel over the entire area.
The first practical mobile phone was invented by Motorola. It is believed that Martin Cooper, a Motorola researcher and executive, is its inventor.
Generations of Mobile Networks
First Generation (1G) Network
Features of 1G: 1G is an analog service service in which voice can be sent from one side only. Used in Walky Talky.
Second Generation (2G) Network
After the introduction of 2G, the mobile’s movility increased significantly. Text SMS started sending from this network. And its sound quality was also much better than 1G. After its arrival, mobile phones have provided such facilities as GPRS and MMS.
Third Generation (3G) Network
With the advent of 3G, the speed of data in the network has increased a lot, due to which the quality of Video Calling or simply say that the introduction of Video Calling has greatly contributed to 3G. The speed of internet became very fast with 3G. Which ended the problem of video buffering on the Internet. This gave a boost to GPS in mobile phones. 3G is an expensive network compared to 2G. But its specialty is many. However, now the era of forgetting 3G has come to 4G. And you guys know about 4G that the feature of 4G is 100 times more than 3G.
Fourth Generation (4G) Network
Simply put, 4G is defined as the fourth generation of mobile technology that follows 2G and 3G networks. It is sometimes called 4G LTE, but it is not technically correct as LTE is only one type of 4G. It is currently the most advanced technology adopted by most mobile network service providers.
However, as you may have read, 5G is expanding and is starting to work with existing 3G and 4G data networks.
When it initially came out, 4G immediately changed how we use mobile Internet. While 3G networks were relatively fast, 4G network connections allowed users to browse the web and stream HD video to mobile devices, which basically turned smartphones into computers of the modern era.
Today, you can do most of the tasks that you can do on a laptop or desktop computer on mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. The 4G network ensures that no matter how much data you need, you can maintain a steady speed almost everywhere.
How fast is 4G ? 4G network is much faster than 3G.
Standard 4G offers download speeds of around 14 Mbps, which is about five times faster than its predecessor 3G network, which was able to offer. In fact, 4G networks can reach speeds of up to 150 Mbps, allowing users to download gigabytes of data in minutes or a few seconds instead of hours with a 3G network.
Fifth Generation (5G) Network
The 5G network is yet to be released but is widely anticipated by the mobile industry. Many experts claim that the network will not only change the way we use our mobile, but also how we connect our devices to the Internet. The network’s improved speed and capacity will point to new IoT trends, such as connected cars, smart cities, and IoT in home and office. Mobile network operators claim that 5G will be available by 2020 but nothing is certain yet.
